Oh, hey.
Were you disappointed in the Academy Awards?
Because I was.
Admittedly, I didn't see most of the ceremony - I caught the last hour, snuggled up on the couch. I am really so very disappointed that little prick Sean Penn won for Milk over Mickey Rourke. Come on. Did you see that man? He is awesome.
And from Schenectady! My favorite new fact.
I want to see his interview with Barbara Walters. He fascinates me lately.
And Slumdog Millionaire is a ridiculous waste of a movie. Oh, blow me, Danny Boyle. I can't believe you won for best director. Are you serious??
I want to watch No Country for Old Men and There Will Be Blood again, and remember the glory of last year's Oscars. And Garden State, but that's just because I want to watch it. I'm going to post more about that movie in the next few days. So prepare yourselves, little dumplings.

What is so weird about Slumdog Millionaire is that I probably would have liked it if it didn't win so many god damn awards. Which makes no sense.
And you should see Milk. Gus Van Zant did a good job. And where does this hatred of Sean Penn come from, may I ask? It seems personal...
Haha, no, that makes sense! I agree - if it didn't get so many, I probably would have not hated it, at least. I just don't understand why it got so many awards.
And I do really want to see Milk. I like Gus Van Zant, and it looks like it's really well done.
I don't know why I hate him so much. I think he's an awful actor. I think he reminds me a lot of Bono, also, which I am not a fan of. No real reason. Irrational hate.
